BABY STEPS _ TOXIN FREE LIVING

WITH COURTNEY MOHN

Clean Beauty Ambassador & Disease Prevention Educator

Meet Courtney Mohn. A journey into motherhood led her further into Toxin Free Education. Change begins with one moment, one breath, one …baby step! What a gift it would be to be able to open the doors for our children to live in a cleaner, kinder, gentle, and mindful world!

There are so many things on this Earth that can make that reality seem so far from us from the chemical toxins in our food, soil, and air to the toxicity of human relationships and the toll that takes on us. It can be a privilege to be able to make these choices when so many are struggling to live in safety and having to seek survival essentials of food and water, but that’s why it is more important than ever for those who can to continue to make these changes.

Let’s break these cycles and prevent the patterns from continuing in our world within and all around.

Courtney loves helping others reduce their body burden by helping provide education on how to eliminate toxins from their households, food, and skincare. Her goal is to reach as many as possible to help encourage and guide them into a healthier lifestyle to promote disease prevention and eco-consciousness by discovering products that are safe for you and the planet! Discovering these items can be a difficult journey, especially in an environments where items are limited. Reading labels, understanding them, and avoiding the “hook” lines can be challenging work. Courtney can help ease that process with her informative resources, comforting guidance, and empowering outlook.

There are many things you can make from a few simple ingredients to help create a clean living. Many of those items can be used towards nutritional needs, household cleaning products, healing / self-care routines and remedies, and more. Making our own products is a great way to be more resourceful and reduce how we consume energy; often toxic. Many mainstream brands and products are filled with harmful chemicals and toxins. We may ask, “if it is so bad, how is it allowed on the market?” Well, our thoughts exactly! Many of these products came to be when little was known about the long-term effects of it all. Sadly, sometimes it was a risk or a known fact that was seen as worth it to boost consumer habits and the economy. Many of these products we do not actually need, but have become rooted to it as a part of our routines and habits. Such a relationship continues feeding the cycles of supply and demand; further justifying and enabling the system. There are some great companies out there transforming their products and how they do business. Our goal is to provide education on how to be a more mindful consumer in the ways you can through the choices you can. We understand how overwhelming it all can be from trying to create more on your own, evaluating your resources, and knowing what items you need. We too were once at the beginning of this journey. The things we share are the insights, tools, and empowering resources that we found helpful along the way. We hope they will provide you with a little more peace, joy, and comfort in your own adventure of toxin-free wellness!

One company that has helped us further transform our life and self-care routines = Crunchi; a clean beauty and hygiene company dedicated to sustainable, toxin free living while helping others create a living. Sometimes, the narratives of being an advocate / salesperson for specific brands or products can get a bad rep. Those reasons can be valid, but most are trying to create opportunities and communities for people to be able to provide a living for their family while they support products they already use / believe in. As we are dedicated to a more accessible, conscious, toxin-free, and sustainable living we are very mindful of how we exchange our energy and what we support. We too are always learning and growing, but we do not take our choices lightly. Aligning our current life work; (mothering, caregiving, family / household endeavors, creating and operating a small business) with the Crunchi community is a pathway we feel very passionate about.

I, Lisa, started Rootin’ for your Life many moons ago. You can read about that journey on the About Page: Here & the Seeds of My Soul Blog: Here. I discovered Crunchi this past year through Courtney and was highly impressed with all the features: the products and the opportunities. I took my time exploring what was available, budgeting, testing the waters of things, and researching the products, companies, and possibilities. Courtney was/is a great mentor in all things Crunchi & Toxin Free Education. If you are interested in learning more about the beauty/self-care products, the advocacy program, and self-care routines, check out my post: here. By supporting my Crunchi shop, it also helps Courtney further her goals as well. Whether you choose to join us in the Free Mantras or more, we appreciate you! You are helping mamas create a sustainable living from home for their families; their littles and their elders!
