The Deeper Journey

The Focus & Flow with the deeper journey of the Wild Rooted Flow wellness project

seeds of Thought

Pacing ourselves to create the connections to our world within and all around is so incredibly hard to do so in our fast-paced world where we are steadily moving from one thing to the next, we are taking in energy and information at rates beyond what we ever imagined. This can add to the blur and fog of being able to identify how we truly think and feel. On the flip side, it can add to our connections, clarity, creativity, and compassion by finding more rhythms that resonate with how we think and feel. Being conscious of our rhythms in how we plug into things is one of the most important things we can do.

Presence. Patience. Practice. Perception. Process. Pathways.

We are life in motion, shifting with the rhythms and currents of the world within and all around. When we do the authentic Root & Flow™ & Wild Rooted Wellness work we further awaken the conscious perceptions and processes piece by piece, word by word, moment by moment, page by page, day by day, and from person to person. Everything we think, do, inhale, and exhale, ripples out to the flow of all things!

To Root & Flow™ we must release and restore, rest and rise. We must do a heck of a lot of mindful gardening to connect to the truest depths of the roots and to grow beyond what was. We must act now to change the tides, shift the energy, and reclaim the flow. this must start within.

We live in a world of extremes, where things either seem exactly the same or vastly different. The narrative is often this or that, no middle, no in between. If things are not near or direct or on the surface, then they are often disregarded or dismissed; left for the depths, the faraway places, or the possible inevitable times. There is a detached consciousness, a void, a focus on another, waiting for the roots to rise to the surface. The time is now. It is always now. Now is all we truly have. When we do the inner work, we create connections to the worlds within to all around to realize the deeper truths, needs, and pathways to all that we were, are, and becoming. There is so much more than just this or that. There are times we have to choose a side, but may it be in truest alignment with a more conscious living. Alignment is not perfect. As we are life in motion it is also something that requires constant engagement and re-engagement to best understand how to align and re-align. Sometimes how we care for, understand, and nurture those needs may change based on the realizations and experiences we continue to collect as we grow our way through life. The constant in life is change. We change from day to night, phase to phase, and season to season. Some roots and rhythms remain familiar and connected to the common ground of life, but many elements will change, and the different rhythms, pathways, and flow of things is steadily shaping and shifting our inner and outer worlds. We have to keep doing the root and core work of uprooting, releasing, replanting, restoring, resting, and rising. We have to create steppingstones, paths, conversations, and moments. We have to honor our season of life and be mindful of others. We have to break the cycles of survivalism to Root and Flow™. To do so is a privilege, because so many are truly in a time where survival is the only option. Some do not even have that option when they prioritize holding on to their humanity and standing against cruel and unbelievable forces. We are all still strongly rooted to our survivalist nature in a lot of ways. We are all struggling with different factors of life at times, but we all have vastly different experiences from moment to moment that shape our realities and perceptions of reality. The goal here is to create opportunity, support, and resources to help nurture your state of being. We all are on a continuous journey of awakening, rootin’, healing, and co-creating. We are all a part of the conscious and unconscious collective of the world before us, all around us, and beyond us.

Whether you are here today to simply try something new, to reclaim your life flow, or completely create your authentic art of living, I hope you find something you can plant in your life in a way that raises your roots and rhythms of life while contributing to creating a more compassionate and conscious world. If you are fighting the hard fight of surviving or feeling the struggle of holding on in some way, I hope you are aligned with support and resources that can be of aid. If you are in such a state of life, sometimes, finding the energy to keep trying to find a way through things is so incredibly hard. Sometimes, finding the words feels impossible. You may come across those who do not understand. Even health professionals can push you closer to the edge because of their own presumptions, perceptions, and experiences or agenda, but I hope you will find a reason to keep rootin’. I know you are tired. I know it all gets so heavy. I know the fog is thick and the air feels unbreathable and the load to carry feels unbearable. Pain and fear can be tremendous, but sometimes it is buried deeper within us than we know. May these offerings in the Wild Rooted Flow be an uplifting place and process to connect to. These are not guaranteed answers or strategies. I do have a lot of personal and professional experience and credentials in regard to the Science of Health and stories of life, but I am always a student of life, and I too have been on quite the Wild Rooted Journey of it.

Goals | Intentions:

How do we create more conscious moments? How can we check-in with ourselves to see how we really feel? When we cannot answer this or feel a flood of thoughts or feel stuck in a fog, how can we release expectations, release the urgent need to fix it / figure out asap, hold more space and create more moments for the journey and being more open to the experiences in the journey? How can we nurture more presence in the process and rhythms in our state of being? How can we write or be more aware of how our story is being written into everything we do in some way and how to approach this as an ongoing mosaic of life, a wild rooted journey of life?

We have to get more comfortable with asking ourselves these questions in our own personal moments and time. We have to answer them at our own pace. We have to practice doing so again and again, because we are steadily establishing and re-establishing connections to our inner world and everything flowing to, through, and around us while steadily collecting more perceptions, thoughts, moments, stories, experiences, needs, and things to consider and do.

Survival mode is such a rooted part of our systems and ways of being, which can make us very reactionary, when something happens that is when we jump in to fight or defend, or we freeze and go through the motions of what we know. Initiating action and moments of exploring our inner pathways is something that can be quite an unfamiliar and overwhelming practice when it is so outside the norm. How do you begin that process / journey? There is no one answer or path. There is a mosaic of offerings to help you explore what best fits your vibes, thoughts, and needs at this time.

Getting attached to our thoughts, plans, needs, goals, what we think we should be doing, what we have to do to maintain our roles/responsibilities/resources are all understandable attachments. Sometimes making changes, even shifting our mindset in those things, is yet again another incredibly hard journey and process, but possible! Many elements and factors of life we cannot control, but when we trace the roots, rhythms, patterns, and flow of things a little deeper or from different perspectives we may discover and develop more pathways. Even if only a few moments, pieces, or steppingstones, they can lead us to connections helping us further navigate the journey of life. Knowing how to consciously explore and be in rhythm with energy is so incredibly important. If we make impulsive decisions, it can create more harm than good, but those thoughts in itself is what often keeps us in survival mode or in the fear of making any changes / shifts at all. Not all change is “bad”. Labeling everything as “good”, “bad”, “this”, “that” is often the tug of war, push and pull that keeps us divided within and divided within all of our systems of life and ways of being. Sometimes, there is clear context in which such a term can apply or when to choose a certain side, etc., but most ways in which we perceive and process things is a complex, unique experience with so much more to life than just good, bad, this, or that. There is so much below, beyond, and in between it all. Even if we do still come to the conclusion to define something as such, it is important to try to create more pathways and moments for consciously considering and processing the roots and rhythms to it. Too often we assume instead of doing the work to better understand or we stay rooted to what we know or think we know or what we think we should do to honor our beliefs or perceptions on a matter. Our beliefs and perceptions matter, but so does how we make conscious efforts to better understand them.

Making more of a conscious effort is so incredibly important and so incredibly hard. How do we do that when we are already trying to do so much in life or when we are processing more than we even know sometimes?

Is survival mode steadily overwriting your conscious moments? How can we be more conscious of how we show up without causing more suffering within us?

Root Work

Establish and continue to re-establish connection to the rhythms within and all around with awareness of what patterns are rooted to fight, flee, freeze behaviors and which are coming from a more soulful place with the abilities to take a minute to process the depths of energy flowing between our worlds of living (from the yesterdays to today to the tomorrows). Take a minute before acting and reacting. Release to Restore. Connect to Create.

Core Care Work

Life is chaos. Our core of life and being is vital for the movements of our Earth and our vital organs (the core of our being: breath, pulse, brain). How can we Calm our Sea Within? This does not mean being perfectly calm. Calmness is a perception, impossible to sustain as we are life in motion with steady movements of thoughts, feelings, and experiences that can conjure our passions to our deepest heartaches to our fears to our magic.

Unblocking and decluttering our pathways of living to create more space and moments for:

-Connection

-Compassion

-Creativity

-Consciousness

How? This is what we continue exploring throughout the entirety of the Wild Rooted Flow!

Life is such a journey. My intention in the series is to steadily plant the seeds to keep reminding us that no matter how much we have faith in our journey, or no matter how lost we feel there is always more possibilities to discover and develop. Having more patience and presence in that process can be so incredibly hard to do. Sometimes we are too rooted to our comforts and unaware of how deeply rooted our patterns of being are and sometimes we feel so overwhelmed by all the things, thoughts, or feelings that we do not know which way to turn, and maybe both of these things and everything in between. We are all experiencing life in its fullness in some kind of way. Processing all of that is a lot!!!

How The Wild Rooted Flow can help:

  • Learn more conscious wellness strategies to check in with self to regulate the flow of the nervous system and reactionary impulses.

  • Discover and create more pathways for exploring wellness concepts. Life is not a one size fits all. Life does not always go according to plan. Having an answer or exact plan rarely goes accordingly in a sustainable way due to the nature of the Wild Rooted Journey of Life. This journey is to add tools to the toolkit and aid in the exploration of nature within and all around to nurture experience. Release expectations. Create experiences.

  • Become more in alignment with the things that matter to you while being mindful of the work this requires over time. It takes time for things to take root and come to the surface. Approach wellness as an ongoing relationship. Invest in your presence and connections. The Wild Rooted Project nurtures the practice of patience, presence, and perception skill-work.

  • Practices for living more intuitively and understanding sensory dynamics and root, rhythmic, and elemental origins of who we are:

    • Things are not always what they seem. Discover strategies for detecting energy and intuitive paths. What is the mind, body, and spirit really saying? Learn the codes of the elements and senses. Our nature within and all around has many signs and symbols on the pathways to help guide us in the flow of things.

    • Many factors and conditions may be out of control but explore concepts and methods to focus on the factors, choices, and practices we can control. The energy will ripple out to influence and shape the world around us in some way but remember it may take time for things to take root and not everything is detectable by our surface senses. Some things shift in a deeper way. The ripples in the flow of the water send out vibrations.

  • In so many ways we have to be our own advocates and our own village at times. In some ways, the world has always been like this, but there has not always been as much information to process and pathways to express all the ways in which we feel and live. In many ways, this has made us more divided, but I have to believe we can create more pathways of connection, support, and understanding. There are so many ways in which we are trying to be more conscious and why it is so important for us to try to be. The pressure from the worlds within us and all around us is mounting between the rise in health conditions, global wars, environmental conditions, etc. This can be so incredibly overwhelming and daunting, but I also see the pockets of magic and beauty steadily growing and the more we can nurture those rhythms, the more they will grow. May this be a place to do so.

    • May it help with resources to further support your journey in Being your Own Advocate while

    • creating more pathways for connection, types of connection:

      • The peace, elements, and insights found in nature

      • Better understanding the rhythms and elements within own mind, body, spirit

      • Abilities and Strategies for better connecting with others, including how to respect differences, honor own beliefs, but not over-project assumptions or agendas

      • Assessing styles and soulful practices for further creating your art of living

      • Discovering and developing habits to nurture more focus, inner-peace, and open-ness

      • Operating from a place of sustainability and consciousness (deeper cognitive connection) over survival mode (high-alert, instinctual quick choices and reactions in attempt to figure out or fix something accordingly to an expectation or “urgent” need). Sometimes survival mode is writing the story more than we know. It is very deeply rooted to our systems, structures, and ways of being, but sometimes it is what is keeping us from effective and lasting life practices. Sometimes our nervous system has us reading everything as stress and we react to it in big ways vs truly rooting and breathing our way through it to process it and assess the best pathways of choice.

All of this to say: The Wild Rooted Wellness Project is about creating a beautiful mosaic and story of life and more moments of wellness in all the ways we possibly can. It is about choosing how we show up to meet the moments of our days and life. Many things may be out of our control, but how we choose to create a rhythm within (in the ways we can) does matter and will ripple out to further create our mosaic and write our story of life!

The process/offerings:

I invite you to read, listen, write, paint, draw, breathe, talk, share, cook, dance, move, sing, explore, collect little treasures from nature, craft, play, laugh, cry, heal, face the hard things, and celebrate the joys along with me. You can choose some of this or all of this. Your mosaic, your art of living, how you show up to write your story of wellness is your journey. I offer the insights and guidance I can, but each one of us is carving our path moment by moment, day by day in the ways we can.
You may choose to do this wellness work in doses, pause and return and/or once you listen, read, or try something this in full you may want to return to this again and again. We are life in motion and having full presence in every moment is so incredibly hard, which can make it difficult to absorb and fully understand all that we are processing. Sometimes, we need to continue visiting the thoughts we share or have and sometimes we have to try different approaches and create the experiences and moments to do so. Also, we are continuously changing through the phases and seasons of life as we talk so much about, so how we perceive, and experience things today most likely will be different tomorrow in some kind of way.

Note: This is a FREE EARLY ACCESS offering! Everything here is in Demo Mode from Oct 2024-Feb 2025 pulling from the programs that have long been behind the scenes to do what I can to offer it to the social flow of things in ways and hopes of creating more sustainable pathways for wellness and the art of living. I will be gradually adding pieces and resources throughout demo mode. These essential offerings are some seeds of thought from my soul to yours. I feel these roots can help with connecting and reconnecting to the rhythms of creating a nourishing and more open mindset while hopefully providing some inspiration to further honor how you show up in your sacred journey on this Earth. What is sacred to our flow of life can look different from moment to moment, day to day, and person to person based on our beliefs, perceptions, and experiences. Many roots and rhythms may remain familiar and connected to a common ground, but we are life in motion as we so often will talk about! Therefore, this is not to create an exact path nor provide a guaranteed answer. It is simply about offering the guidance to cultivate an opportunity for experience. May you find some heart-warming insights in the fun moments and the moments that are deeper, heavier to process and keep in mind, I too am on this wild rooted journey of trying to learn, create, share, live, etc. May we all Root, Love, Grow to create our Flow™ a little more each day in the ways we can.

Thanks so much for starting this Wild Rooted Journey of Wellness with me!

Roots of Love,

Lisa

Some words are never spoken; stories never told. Some moments are never shared. Some things remain in the depths. Some things are in the great beyond; the subconscious shadows waiting for the right light to unveil its truth. Most things are living in a sacred space for processing until we feel called to engage and express. The message may not always be obvious, but it becomes every fiber of who we are in how we embody it, exude it, continue to experience it, and how we exercise our state of being with it. It is all a part of our story. It is the art in how we live our life. Some of our stories and ways of being flow from us with ease into our everyday rituals and expressions of life. Some are vibrant spoken pieces, some are carefully crafted artifacts, some …….

This means something different to each of us, but there are essential roots of being a kind human, when we dig deep enough and can find clarity in all the fog that stands between us.
