The Wild Rooted Flow Wellness Journey

DEMO MODE

with Lisa Horoszewski

The Getting Started with the Wild Rooted Flow Series

I invite you to read, listen (at the bottom there is a playlist for this getting started series and each voice note is also listed separately), or both. You may choose to in doses, pause and return and/or once you listen to it/ read this in full you may want to return to this again and again. We are life in motion and having full presence in every moment is so incredibly hard, which can make it difficult to absorb and fully understand all that we are processing. Sometimes, we need to continue visiting the thoughts we share or have and sometimes we have to try different approaches and create the experiences and moments to do so. Also, we are continuously changing through the phases and seasons of life as we talk so much about, so how we perceive and experience things today most likely will be different tomorrow in some kind of way.

These beginning thoughts to read summarize a good portion of the content in the recordings. The recordings may be lengthier to listen to but may be worthwhile. May you find some heart-warming insights in the fun moments and the moments that are deeper, heavier to process and keep in mind, I too am on this wild rooted journey of trying to learn, create, share, live, etc.

Note: This is a FREE EARLY ACCESS offering! Everything here is in Demo Mode from Oct 2024-Feb 2025 pulling from the programs that have long been behind the scenes to do what I can to offer it to the social flow of things in ways and hopes of creating more sustainable pathways for our wellness and art of living. I will be gradually adding pieces and resources throughout demo mode. These essential recordings / voice notes and insights to read are some seeds of thought from my soul to yours that I feel are essential for connecting and reconnecting to the rhythms of creating a nourishing and more open mindset while hopefully providing some inspiration to further honor how you show up in your sacred journey on this Earth. What is sacred to our flow of life can look different from moment to moment, day to day, and person to person based on our beliefs, perceptions, and experiences. Many roots and rhythms may remain familiar and connected to a common ground, but we are life in motion as we so often will talk about!

How are you?

No, not just the causal, same ole “I’m fine”, “Oh you know, just hanging in there”, “Could be better”, or “Can’t complain”. These quick, going-through-the-motion answers are valid and absolutely understandable in our fast-paced world, but sometimes we are holding back on a whole world of connection. We can all probably relate to how incredibly hard it is to answer this question some days.

How often have you asked yourself, “How am I today”?

Or

“How do I feel about this part of my life”?

“How do I truly feel about this topic”?

etc.

How often have you asked others this question lately and truly been able to hold space or presence for a deep, honest connection?

The quick paced nature of our systems and structures of life often has us holding back on how we really feel, what we really need/need to share OR it has us bursting and flowing in such rapid flooding kinds of ways OR it has us frozen in the rhythms of life, going through the motions to keep going. All of such is survival mode, so strongly rooted in our state of being.

The generic answers can still be a very genuine connection (sometimes it is enough and truly the amount of energy we can provide at the moment), but often it is rooted to the holding back / going through the motions - freeze state of survival mode. Sometimes to avoid answering or asking this question we avoid it completely:

We change the subject when talking with others, plug into our phones when we are in public to avoid conversation, or turn to our coping mechanisms and auto-pilot habits to avoid asking ourselves or others this question when we do have a moment.

Sometimes we overshare our thoughts and feelings to this question. Sometimes we may pour out a flood or lists of the things we are going through or feeling. Again, understandable. We are all juggling so much and sometimes we are in those seasons of our lives where there are so many unbelievable things to process, and we need to pour it out. Survival mode can cause us to do so in a more impulsive, aggressive, defensive, ego, shadow kind of way. Whereas when we can process this in a more conscious way, we may still have a lot to share about, but in a way that is more mindful of how energy is being exchanged and the awareness to assess if a connection will be a nourishing moment for such a conversation. This does not mean you will receive the understanding, comfort, support, respect, or resources that is needed. Many times we share our truth and are met with more discomfort in a lot of ways, not always in a “bad way”, sharing our truth is a complex, deep thing to do. This is something outside the norm of many of our systems and structures. There are many roots and rhythms as to why, but to go on the path of what we already started on: so much of our world has a fast paced -go-go-go rhythm. It takes time for things to take root and come to the surface of the senses. Sharing our deepest, truest thoughts, feelings, stories, and needs rarely fits into the flow of how we connect to and exchange energy. Learning such pathways of sharing the vibes of our existence and co-existing at the same time is such a journey that requires so much root or core care work. We know this and it can be easy to get overwhelmed with where / how to even start or maybe we are still in the state of mind of “everything is fine - I just have to keep going - conscious work is not for me or I have my faith / my routines - it will all work out”. Again, these are valid, but we could probably all use a little more understanding, support, and connection in some kind of way. Doing conscious root and core care work is a journey. Too often, it is our expectations that are standing in our way and keeping us from experiencing a deeper connection to our conscious flow of life; to our rhythms of nature within to the rhythms of nature all around. Our expectations keep us in that survival mode flow more than we even realize. Again, it is so, so, so understandable…… we are all so rooted to survival mode for so many reasons of the past, present, and future. Many of those expectations standing in our way are not just the ones we have created, but how those roots even came into being within us was often what was projected into our roots and rhythms of survival and therefore became such a deep, daily flow of our ways of living. Plus, it is a part of our nature as well. It is instinctual. However, too often those instincts are overwriting our intuition, our conscious state of being. It is keeping us in a high-alert state vs being able to truly process the knowing of when/ how to engage and when to release. It can blur the pathways on how to show up (for our own state of being and our connection to everything: others, the choices we make, our roles, our perceptions, our resources, etc).

So if this is all so complex and deeply rooted in the nature of life itself, how do we truly ask ourselves such questions of:

-How am I?

-Am I showing up in survival mode in this moment or am I taking a minute to check in with my consciousness?

-How can I create more pathways of consciousness?

-How can I create more moments to ask this question to others in a more conscious way?

Things to Note:

-There is no simple answer for these. There is no quick fix. We are not meant to have it all figured out. Many of our expectations (flowing from survival mode) is that urgency to fix it, get it together NOW! (How many times have we heard: “that’s enough”, “we don’t have time for this”, “get it together, now”, “stop doing _____” or “get over it”, “just breathe”, “just have faith”, etc. How many times was our presence in trying to process life interrupted, disturbed, controlled, judged, etc. Many times, with the “good intentions” to create a person or connect to a person that could fit into the flow of society, but personally I believe that society is so out of the flow and pace on nature, it is so out of alignment of being able to truly cultivate a conscious connection, that is why so many people, systems, and structures feel broken and are breaking.) Our urgency to fix and fit is often rooted to the fear of not becoming (in terms of being accepted by a certain flow/group/way of living, making progress, and/or surviving - we all struggle with the fact that tomorrow and our future is so unknown: how much time do we have, what will we be able to do in this life, how can we secure our resources, etc.). We are all processing so much while steadily trying to hold and create space/energy for processing everything we are connected to while processing so many unresolved rhythms of our past (as a person and people of this Earth) while trying to become and create pathways for the future.

It is a lot! That is why this is no easy thing to write or talk about! It is possible though! Creating more moments in the ways we can connect to our conscious rhythms within and all around is possible and the more we do so, the more it will flow!

Learning strategies for our conscious and survival instincts to co-exist / harmonize vs being in a constant state of tug of war within our own inner being, which is a reflection of how the world itself is in such a state and how we continue to contribute to those cycles is something we have to do in every moment in some kind of way. Our energy ripples out into the flow of everything. It is shaping, shifting, and influencing the world around us in some way. However, what types of conditions, elements, environments, and landscapes it creates takes time to come into actualization/realization. It takes time for things to manifest/come into being and just when we think we understand…..life changes. We are life in motion continuously going through the phases, seasons, and cycles of life, shaping, shifting, and evolving our world within to the world all around. We too are receiving the flow created by others’ ripples. Again, how do we become aware of all of this without the overwhelm or survival mode of it all?

  • In doses, learning and creating strategies in doses!

  • In steps, navigating our way through all the landscapes is a process, a journey!

  • In moments, create the moments we can, consciously release the moments we cannot!

  • In pieces, piece by piece we create our mosaic of life!

We connect the dots, create the pathways, put the pieces together moment by moment, day by day in all the little to all the big ways we can!

Voice Note #1: Welcome to the Long, Wild Rooted Journey

of learning more strategies and discovering more pathways for creating more conscious moments in the Wild Rooted Journey of Life! In so many ways we have to be our own advocates and our own village at times. In some ways, the world has always been like this, but there has not always been as much information to process and pathways to express all the ways in which we feel and live. In many ways, this has made us more divided, but I have to believe we can create more pathways of connection, support, and understanding. There are so many ways in which we are trying to be more conscious and why it is so important for us to try to be. The pressure from the worlds within us and all around us is mounting between the rise in health conditions, global wars, environmental conditions, etc. This can be so incredibly overwhelming and daunting, but I also see the pockets of magic and beauty steadily growing and the more we can nurture those rhythms, the more they will grow.

Voice Note #2: Creating more moments of Presence in the Process of Everything we do
Pacing ourselves to create the connections to our world within and all around is so incredibly hard to do so in our fast-paced world where we are steadily moving from one thing to the next, we are taking in energy and information at rates beyond what we ever imagined. This can add to the blur and fog of being able to identify how we truly think and feel. On the flip side, it can add to our connections, clarity, creativity, and compassion by finding more rhythms that resonate with how we think and feel. Being conscious of our rhythms in how we plug into things is one of the most important things we can do.

Presence. Patience. Practice. Perception. Process. Pathways.

Voice Note #3: A little more about Survival Mode and Conscious Concepts

Is Surival mode steadily overwriting your conscious moments? How can we be more conscious of how we show up without causing more suffering within us?

Root Work

Establish and continue to re-establish connection to the rhythms within and all around with awareness of what patterns are rooted to fight, flee, freeze behaviors and which are coming from a more soulful place with the abilities to take a minute to process the depths of energy flowing between our worlds of living (from the yesterdays to today to the tomorrows). Take a minute before acting and reacting. Release to Restore. Connect to Create.

Core Care Work

Life is chaos. Our core of life and being is vital for the movements of our Earth and our vital organs (the core of our being: breath, pulse, brain). How can we Calm our Sea Within? This does not mean being perfectly calm. Calmness is a perception, impossible to sustain as we are life in motion with steady movements of thoughts, feelings, and experiences that can conjure our passions to our deepest heartaches to our fears to our magic.

Unblocking and decluttering our pathways of living to create more space and moments for:

-Connection

-Compassion

-Creativity

-Consciousness

How? This is what we continue exploring throughout the entirety of the Wild Rooted Flow!

Voice Note #4 Pt. 1: The Finale of thoughts on Cultivating the Mindset for the Wild Rooted Flow

Wooohoo! If you have made it this far in reading and/or listening, thank you so very much for baring with me in this getting started series, the long road version, of the Wild Rooted Flow!!!!

Life is such a journey. My intention in the series is to steadily plant the seeds to keep reminding us that no matter how much we have faith in our journey or no matter how lost we feel there is always more possibilities to discover and develop. Having more patience and presence in that process can be so incredibly hard to do, because sometimes we are too rooted to our comforts and unaware of how deeply rooted our patterns of being are and sometimes we feel so overwhelmed by all the things, thoughts, or feelings that we do not know which way to turn, and maybe both of these things and everything in between, because we are all experiencing life in its fullness in some kind of way. Processing all of that is a lot!!!

Recording 4 Pt. 2: How to start the journey: Release Expectations. Focus on Experiences.

Getting attached to our thoughts, plans, needs, goals, what we think we should be doing, what we have to do to maintain our roles/responsibilities/resources are all understandable attachments and sometimes making changes, even shifting our mindset in those things, is yet again another incredibly hard journey and process, but possible! Many elements and factors of life we cannot control, but when we trace the roots, rhythms, patterns, and flow of things a little deeper or from different perspectives we may discover and develop more pathways, even if only a few moments, pieces, or steppingstones, they can lead us to connections that help us further navigate the journey of life. Knowing how to consciously explore and be in rhythms with energy is so incredibly important, because sometimes if we make impulsive decisions, it can create more harm than good, but those thoughts in itself is what often keeps us in survival mode or in the fear of making any changes / shifts at all, but not all change is “bad”. Labeling everything as “good”, “bad”, “this”, “that” is often the tug of war, push and pull that keeps us divided within and divided within all of our systems of life and ways of being. Sometimes, there is clear context in which such a term can apply or when to choose a certain side, etc, but most ways in which we perceive and process things is a complex, unique experience with so much more to life than just good, bad, this, or that. There is so much below, beyond, and in between it all. Even if we do still come to the conclusion to define something as such, it is important to try to create more pathways and moments for consciously considering and processing the roots and rhythms to it. Too often we assume instead of doing the work to better understand or we stay rooted to what we know or think we know or what we think we should do to honor our beliefs or perceptions on a matter. Our beliefs and perceptions matter, but so does how make conscious efforts to better understand them. Actually, that is the bottom line: making more of a conscious effort is so incredibly important and so incredibly hard. How do we do that when we are already trying to do so much in life or when we are processing more than we even know sometimes?

Step 1 to the Wild Rooted Flow and the final thoughts in this getting started series:

How do we create more conscious moments? How can we check-in with ourselves to see how we really feel? When we cannot answer this or feel a flood of thoughts or feel stuck in a fog, how can we release expectations, release the urgent need to fix it / figure out asap, hold more space and create more moments for the journey and being more open to the experiences in the journey? How can we nurture more presence in the process and rhythms in our state of being? How can we write or be more aware of how our story is being written into everything we do in some way and how to approach this as an ongoing mosaic of life, a wild rooted journey of life?

We have to get more comfortable with asking ourselves these questions in our own personal moments and time. We have to answer them at our own pace. We have to practice doing so again and again, because we are steading establishing and re-establishing connections to our inner world and everything flowing to, through, and around us while steadily collecting more perceptions, thoughts, moments, stories, experiences, needs, and things to consider and do.

Survival mode is such a rooted part of our systems and ways of being, which can make us very reactionary, when something happens that is when we jump in to fight or defend, or we freeze and go through the motions of what we know. Initiating action and moments of exploring our inner pathways is something that can be quite an unfamiliar and overwhelming practice when it is so outside the norm. How do you begin that process / journey? There is no one answer or path. There is a mosaic of offerings to help you explore what best fits your vibes, thoughts, and needs at this time. Explore the concepts, links, and flow below.

Thanks so much for starting this Wild Rooted Journey of Wellness with me!

Roots of Love,

Lisa
